Billionaire invester Carl Icahn wants merger between Oshkosh Corp., Navistar

“According to a report this morning from Reuters, billionaire investor Carl Icahn is seeking a merger between Oshkosh Corp., and Navistar.

Icahn, who holds about a 10 percent stake in each of the large truck and military manufacturers, has yet to make a formal bid for the merger, according to the report which cites unnamed sources.

The report also says that a merger is not a sure thing as both companies would have to be open to the idea.”
