Chris Matthews: Only a Racist Would Criticize Obama, Who Is Perfect

“The award for the most pathetically servile left-wing apparatchik to serve in the Democrat Party’s media wing goes to who else but Chrissie “Tingles” Matthews:”

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews declared Wednesday that he’s “got to believe” opposition to President Obama is “ethnic in nature,” since the president has “never done anything wrong in his life — legally, ethically, whatever.”

“Matthews is not alone at MSNBC in attempting to salvage Obama’s failed presidency by brandishing the race club at anyone who dares object to the hyperpartisan abuse of power that has characterized it. But he is the most cartoonish.”

Lib Rag Mother Jones: GOP Banning Murderers, Rapists, Pedophiles From Getting Food Stamps Is Racist Because It Discriminates Against Black People…

On Wednesday the Senate agriculture committee approved a GOP proposal that would amend the farm bill the Senate is considering to ban “convicted murderers, rapists, and pedophiles” from getting food stamps. On its surface, the idea sounds unobjectionable, but the measure would have “strongly racially discriminatory effects,” according to the non-partisan Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP).

The amendment, introduced by Sen. David Vitter (R-La.), and agreed to by unanimous consent in the committee, would bar anyone who has ever been convicted of certain violent crimes—even if they committed the crimes in their youth and have served their sentence—from ever getting food stamps (called SNAP benefits) ever again. CBPP president Robert Greenstein slammed the amendment in a statement Tuesday, calling it “stunning.” Because African Americans are incarcerated at a higher rate than other races, he says, “the amendment would have a skewed racial impact. Poor elderly African Americans convicted of a single crime decades ago by segregated Southern juries would be among those hit.” Under current law, there is only a lifetime ban on food stamps for convicted drug felons, and many states have opted out of that ban.

The measure wouldn’t just hurt ex-cons. Greenstein points out that “the amendment would mean lower SNAP benefits for their children and other family members.”

Millions March Against Monsanto: A Global Awakening Covered Up By The Media

“Over 2 million people peacefully took to streets around the world to protest the poisoning of the global food supply by the biotech giant, Monsanto.

Not surprisingly, the mainstream media has been pretty quiet about the event.

After relentless phone calls and emails by protesters, some coverage has finally been achieved, preventing the event from being completely blacked out. The same article was published throughout global media, including Yahoo, CTV, Huffington Post, ABC News, and the UK Guardian. The article downplayed the magnitude of the March and the importance of the cause:”

Protesters rallied in dozens of cities Saturday as part of a global protest against seed giant Monsanto and the genetically modified food it produces, organizers said.

Organizers said “March Against Monsanto” protests were held in 52 countries and 436 cities, including Los Angeles where demonstrators waved signs that read “Real Food 4 Real People” and “Label GMOs, It’s Our Right to Know.”

Genetically modified plants are grown from seeds that are engineered to resist insecticides and herbicides, add nutritional benefits or otherwise improve crop yields and increase the global food supply. (Huffington Post)

Only CBS Notes IRS Official’s Leave, Yet ABC and NBC Have Time to Show Obama’s Prom Photo with ‘Foxy’ Friend

“Already moving on from the IRS scandal? On Thursday night, only the CBS Evening News of the broadcast network evening newscasts bothered to note how Lois Lerner, the IRS official in charge of the division which processes tax-exempt applications, was put on administrative leave after she took the Fifth and refused to answer questions at a House hearing the day before. Anchor Scott Pelley squeezed in 20 seconds on it.

Yet, ABC World News and the NBC Nightly News made room to highlight a photo of a 17-year-old Barack Obama and his prom date along with a friend and his date.

Both ABC World News anchor Dan Harris and NBC Nightly News anchor Ann Curry took time to point out how Obama, in a note written in the yearbook of the friend’s date, called her “foxy.” The picture and yearbook page were given to Time magazine by the woman.

None of the newscasts made any mention of any other scandal, such as fresh revelations in case of the Obama administration’s eavesdropping and harassment of Fox News correspondent James Rosen.”

7 Things About The Mainstream Media That They Do Not Want You To Know

“Have you ever wondered who controls the mainstream media? In America today, we are more “connected” than ever. The average American watches 153 hours of television a month, and we also spend countless hours watching movies, playing video games, listening to music, reading books and surfing the Internet. If someone could control the production of all of that media, that would make them immensely powerful. They would literally be in a position to tell people what to think. Well, what if I told you that there are just six enormous media conglomerates that combine to produce about 90 percent of all the media that Americans consume. Would that alarm you? It should alarm you. The truth is that our attitudes, opinions and beliefs are greatly shaped by what we allow into our minds. After all, they don’t call it “programming” for no reason. Even those of us that realize that we are connected to “the matrix” probably greatly underestimate the tremendous influence that the media has over us. We live at a time when it is absolutely imperative to think for ourselves, but most Americans are being absolutely overwhelmed with information and seem more than content to let others do their thinking for them. Sadly, this is greatly contributing to the downfall of our society.”

Why Obama Will Survive the Equivalent of Five “Watergate Scandals”

“Mark Twain once talked about history not necessarily repeating, but he noted that history sure does rhyme.

Richard Nixon was unable to survive one direct hit upon his administration, namely, the Watergate scandal. Conversely, Obama is facing five scandals which dwarf Watergate in terms of criminality, abuse of power, malfeasance of office and outright treason.

The damage inflicted upon the American people by the criminal syndicate occupying the White House is unparalleled in American history. Yet, Obama is going to survive and this article will describe how Obama is this century’s version of the famous escape artist, Houdini.”

A Question of Privilege Daughter of donors gets first question at Obama press conference

“After keeping the White House press corps waiting for more than 40 minutes in the rain, President Barack Obama finally emerged from the West Wing to hold a press conference with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Obama took the first question from Bloomberg’s Julianna Goldman, whose parents contributed at least $5,400 to Obama during the last cycle.

Today was not the first time Goldman has received preferential treatment from Obama. Obama personally served birthday cake to Goldman during an Air Force One flight from Afghanistan last May.”

To The Media: Stop Sucking Obama On The Debt

‘What is that? It’s simply a reproduction of the Debt To The Penny series. The first column is the public debt, the next is Social Security and Medicare (mostly), the third is the total and the last is the month-to-month change (which is, of course, simple arithmetic.)

What we see is that since September 28th 2012 (the last business day for which this was reported) there has been a net $762.6 billion of new debt added to the Federal balance sheet, not $488 billion.

Oh, and for those who are keeping track Social Security and Medicare are almost $90 billion in the hole this fiscal year thus far.

In addition, April was not a net surplus month. January was close, and that’s frequently the case because January is corporate tax payment month.

Remember that this fiscal year included debt ceiling games; it is thus grossly distorted unless you look at the cash statement.”
