“Paws and Stripes founder and disabled veteran Jim Staneck is seeking support from fellow dog lovers after he and his service dog were insulted and assaulted by United Airline employees.
Staneck and his service dog Sarge spent 48 hours stranded in the Dulles Airport after numerous flight cancellations and delays. Wounded in battle, Staneck suffers from a brain injury that makes it difficult for him to concentrate under stress. When he struggled to understand changes to his itinerary an employee at the ticket counter insulted him.
“He said, ‘Just read it’ and I said, ‘Sir I can’t read it,’ and he said, ‘What are you retarded?’” Staneck recalls. “Prior to this I told him I have a brain injury and PTSD, I’m a disabled vet, this is my second night here; I need help.”
To make matters worse, Staneck says Sarge was kicked twice by United employees. He said the second kick was so hard that it sent her flying.”

“President Obama has touted General Motors (GM) as a successful example of his administration’s policies. Yet GM’s recovery is built, at least in part, on the increasing use of subprime loans.
The Obama administration in 2009 bailed out GM to the tune of $50 billion as it went into a managed bankruptcy.
Near the end of 2010, GM acquired a new captive lending arm, subprime specialist AmeriCredit. Renamed GM Financial, it has played a significant role in GM’s growth .”
Requiring Birth Control Pills In Health Plan; Company Files Lawsuit
“A federal judge has issued a preliminary injunction barring penalties against a Colorado business whose health coverage for employees doesn’t cover contraception or abortion pills.
The Barack Obama administration’s health care legislation requires group health plans to offer women no-cost preventive care coverage for items including contraception.
The heating and air conditioning business Hercules Industries Inc. is run by a family whose Roman Catholic beliefs condemn contraception, but it doesn’t qualify as a religious employer exempt from offering the coverage.
Hercules Industries sought relief in court.
On Friday, U.S. District Court Judge John Kane issued a preliminary injunction keeping the government from penalizing Hercules Industries for its health plan while the company’s lawsuit proceeds. Kane notes that his order doesn’t keep the government from enforcing the mandate against anyone else.”
“Whispers was forwarded a strongly-worded E-mail Thursday from Cynthia Dill, the notoriously outspoken Democratic candidate in Maine’s Senate race to replace retiring Republican Olympia Snowe.
“How many murdered children does it take?” the E-mail began. “My opponents… both agree it was OK for the Aurora killer to be able to legally purchase a 100-round magazine of ammunition, and I don’t. That’s the difference. Can you chip in $100 today?””
“There’s just no longer any way to spin this. There is no reason why the economy should not be picking up after three and a half years of the Obama presidency. Unless the problem is the Obama presidency.
The Commerce Department announced today that the economy grew only 1.5 percent the second quarter of the year. This is not an aberration or hiccup.
Since Obama was inaugurated, the economy has grown above 2.5 percent only twice, and only once since the beginning of 2011. This is the Obama economy.
I want to tell you something. There are certain bottom lines in life.
Obama has failed to turn the economy around. And Mitt Romney is going to have more money to spend on the campaign than the president.”
“The UN International Arms Trade Treaty Conference (ATT) is wrapping up in New York, and their final draft is completed.
In 2009, Hillary Clinton, US Secretary of State, proudly announced that the Obama administration was in full support of the ATT. It was the intention of the US government to assist the UN in implementing and establishing “common international standards for the import, export, and transfer of conventional arms to help prevent the acquisition of arms by terrorists, criminals, and those who violate human rights or are subject to UN arms embargoes.”
Clinton stated that, “the United States is prepared to work hard for a strong international standard” concerning global gun control. “The United States is committed to actively pursuing a strong and robust treaty that contains the highest possible, legally binding standards for the international transfer of conventional weapons.”
In 2010, the US began talks with the UN regarding the initial drafting of the ATT.
With perfect globalist rhetoric, the UN claims that it is “not pursuing a global treaty to ban gun ownership by civilians.” But rather a “tightening controls over the international import, export and transfers of conventional arms, because without such controls it is easier for weapons to be diverted from the legal trade into the illegal market, and into the hands of terrorists, drug traffickers and criminal cartels.””

“Rep. Paul Ryan, the House Budget Committee chairman and the GOP point man on budgetary and other economic issues, said today that he has not spoken to President Obama in more than a year.
Ryan, who spoke on the Laura Ingraham Show this morning, is probably the most important man in Congress for Obama to do business with if he wants to reduce the deficit and find an agreement that would avert the year-end “fiscal cliff,” when horrendous tax increases and spending cuts will take place if a deal isn’t struck.
The absence of even a conversation with Ryan – no less a meeting – calls into the question whether Obama is the least bit serious about trying to find agreement on extending the Bush tax cuts, an issue on which he has been pounding Republicans as allies of the rich. It suggests he is much more content to let this and other fiscal problems simmer so he can use them as a means of attacking Republicans.”
“If you are an American, your freedom of speech is under attack. Over the past week, remarks made by Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy defending traditional marriage have sparked controversy all over the nation. Many Americans have expressed support for his remarks and many have expressed disdain for his remarks. And all of that is fine, because in the United States people are supposed to be able to express their opinions. But in Chicago, Boston and other U.S. cities, politicians are actually promising to keep any more Chick-fil-A stores from opening because their CEO does not support gay marriage, and that crosses the line. When politicians threaten to ban a business from their cities just because the CEO does not hold the “politically correct” position on a social issue that is an attack on the freedom of speech of every American. You see, the truth is that the enforcers of political correctness in America are very “tolerant” except when somebody disagrees with them. The politically correct control freaks that are trying to ban Chick-fil-A from their cities would try to ban Chick-fil-A from opening any more restaurants in the entire country if they had the power to do so. The goal of these politically correct control freaks is to intimidate. They want to end debate on these social issues by shutting down the free speech of the opposition. In the end, if America continues to go down this path it will end up looking just like many of the other totalitarian regimes throughout history where free speech has been banned.”
“If you were hoping for a recession in 2012, then you are going to be very happy with the numbers you are about to see. The U.S. economy is heading downhill just in time for the 2012 election. Retail sales have fallen for three months in a row for the first time since 2008, manufacturing activity is dropping like a rock, sales of new homes are declining again, consumer confidence has moved significantly lower and a depressingly small percentage of businesses anticipate hiring more workers in the coming months. Even though the Federal Reserve has been wildly pumping money into the financial system and even though the federal government has been injecting gigantic piles of borrowed cash into the economy, we still haven’t seen an economic recovery. In fact, we appear to be on the verge of yet another major downturn. In California the other night, Barack Obama told supporters that “we tried our plan — and it worked”, but only those that are still drinking the Obama kool-aid would believe something so preposterous. The truth is that the U.S. economy has been steadily declining for many years and now we have reached another very painful recession.”
